ASTROLOGY
Astrology has become considerably more popular in recent years and with the arrival of comprehensive astrological software more people are able to ‘run off’ accurate horoscopes in just a few minutes.
Even without a great deal of training or experience it is also a simple matter to produce a computerized report which is interesting at best , and by definition, can only be generic at worst. It is also easy to produce page after page of descriptive astrological reports that many will be content to pay for however, what the computer fails to provide is a synthesis of all the complex information into a ‘one-off’ personal assessment which is centred entirely on you.
Because I am an astrologer with over twenty years of experience I have in the past been content to go through the quite laborious process of calculating horoscopes by hand, but it does take up valuable time; whereas the use of computer software does ensure that I am able to spend more time on interpreting and synthesising the information into a report that is absolutely unique to you and your spiritual pathway.
Over the many years that I have been studying (one never stops learning!) and working with astrology I have developed a series of study sheets which I named ‘SELF-AWARENESS THROUGH ASTROLOGY’ and these focus on how you can, with the help of the planets, discover why you are here on earth again and how you can strengthen your chances of making the right decisions on your journey.
The dynamics of a horoscope are very complex and intricate but, contained within the birth chart, is a vast amount of fascinating and useful information that can reveal to you why you have particular character traits and, more importantly, how you can change these characteristics from weaknesses to strengths.
How many times have you heard someone say – ‘Well, I am a Taurean so I can’t help being stubborn and fixed in my opinions’. That’s fine, as through the medium of astrology you have discovered you are being blessed with being born when the Sun was in that sign, but admitting and knowing you are stubborn is not the purpose of you being here. You are returning once again to balance your character traits and, in so doing, you will become more self-aware and gradually work on all the negative aspects of yourself and develop the souls ambitions in the process; turning experience into wisdom!
TAROT
Tarot is closely connected to astrology and since modern tarot was born, around the late 1800s, it has eventually blossomed forth and has become more acceptable to those who previously relegated it to the ‘dark world’ of mystery and black magic.
The typical tarot deck comprises 78 cards and, when you shuffle a deck and lay them out on a table, you are actually putting an entire universe into motion, just as the planets and signs in astrology align to represent a new reality for every child born on earth.
This is an art that can be used to empower anyone who wishes to explore the potential of their life path regardless of whether you live as far away as Australia, New Zealand, China, India, United States or on the continent in United Kingdom. Spain, France, Germany or Portugal.
Like astrology, awakening our intuitive abilities can certainly broaden the depth of a tarot reading and I tend to view the cards as a direct telephone line to my guides and the guides and helpers of the inquirer, through which the appropriate tarot cards are drawn for me to interpret. I am simply a channel for the information.
I strongly believe in the freewill that everyone has as they tread the floorboards of their spiritual pathway and, because we generally have little control over the actions of others in our life, it is quite impossible to accurately predict an actual outcome to a situation. This is fortune telling.
With this in mind I read tarot cards to provide information for my client so that they may more readily empower themselves to make their own decisions that will have an impact upon the outcomes of the challenges in their life. It is certainly true that knowledge is power but, at the end of the day, we must take the responsibility for making the important decisions ourselves and not expect the tarot reader to do it for us.
